The year 2006 saw Van Pol recorded her own version of the Disney Song Candle on the Water by Pete's Dragon as part of Disneymania. A Change in Me, the most well-known song on the Broadway show of Belle van der Pol musical soundtrack, was composed by her in connection with the role she played as Belle van der Pol.
