Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film model, actress and film maker. Alongside her stunning appearance, her steady success in the film industry is testament to her abilities as a performer. Her career began as a fashion model in the year 1970 her rise quickly to prominence. In the early 1980s, she attended acting classes, and was a theater student before performing on the stages in Los Angeles. Russo was first seen on screen on ABCs drama show Sable in 1987 portraying the character Eden Kendell. In her first film Major League two years after she played Tom Berengers romantic interest. Her consistency won the hearts of those who were skeptical about her abilities as an actor. They were particularly impressed by her performance in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak where she held her own in the face as Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. The actress admits to being not a fan of acting. Following a long absence, she decided to self-impose in 2005. For the film Thor, she returned to acting. She also starred in Nightcrawler the husband's Oscar Award-winning film. The Intern was her first funny and lighthearted film. She went on to be a part of Just Getting Started and other comedy films.

Rose Namajunas has been one of the UFC's most well-known female athletes. Her journey began as an amateur fighter, competing in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Following her joining of the UFC in 2011 she was known as a household name thanks to the popularity she achieved both inside and outside of octagon. Namajunas's family are Lithuanian and she was born there on the 29th June, 1992. Rose participated in basketball and kickboxing as she grew up. Invicta Fighting Championships gave her the opportunity to make her debut as a professional at age the age of 18, after she knocked down two opponents. This caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to join the UFC Strawweight at the age of 22 years old. Her career has had extremes, as well as lows and she's in a position to emerge from her fights in the top position. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with a technical knockout within less than 3 minute of round One. Rose not only took home the title but she was also named Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history by winning this fight because she became the first woman to compete in a title fight within any major organization. Namajunas kept winning more victories, including two wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
